Season context: This shirt belongs to the 1999-2000 season, when Real Madrid won the UEFA Champions League and lifted La Octava after beating Valencia 3-0 in the final in Paris. Raúl was one of the team’s key players throughout the campaign and scored in that Champions League final, while Fernando Redondo, Roberto Carlos, Fernando Hierro, Steve McManaman and Fernando Morientes were also important figures. Although Madrid finished fifth in La Liga, this away shirt is closely linked to one of the most memorable European triumphs in the club’s history.
