Condition Guide

We aim to describe the condition of each shirt as clearly and consistently as possible. Condition is always assessed with collector standards in mind, while also taking into account that older shirts may show signs of age even when they have been well preserved.

BNWT — Brand New With Tags

Unused shirt with original retail tags attached.

Brand New Without Tags

Unused shirt without retail tags, but still in brand new condition.

Mint Condition

Exceptional condition with no meaningful signs of wear. This sits at the top end of the scale alongside BNWT and BNWOT.

Excellent Condition

Very strong overall condition, usually around 9/10. The shirt may show minimal storage or handling signs, but remains close to top collector standard.

Very Good Condition

A well-preserved shirt with light signs of age or use, generally around 8/10 to 9/10 depending on the item.

Good Condition

A shirt with more visible wear, but still fully suitable for sale and collection. This generally covers items around 6/10 to 8/10 depending on age and type.

We do not usually sell shirts in condition below Good.

Vintage sizing

Older football shirts can fit differently from modern shirts and often run wider or larger than current equivalents. For that reason, we recommend checking the listed size carefully and contacting us if you need extra measurements before purchasing.

Prints and patches

Where relevant, product pages state whether a shirt includes an official print, an official player issue print or an original style print. Sleeve patches and other special details are also described as clearly as possible in the Notes section.
